At our Zoom meeting Edouard was talking about the submarine he drew and the periscope. I said I would find a way to make a periscope at home. I found some instructions and other ideas for science activities to do at home. You may need some help from Mom & Dad.
Graduation!! ??
Congratulations Kinder class or 2020.
On Tuesday we had a drive by graduation ceremony. Everyone decorated their cars. Helene had balloons and signs. The neighbours came by asking what is going on. Everyone had a smile on their faces. It was a beautiful day. Kinders I will miss you all. I wish you luck at your new schools. I know you are all ready for the next adventure. ?? Here are a few pictures I captured on the big day! Happy Graduation Kinders! It was wonderful to see everyone and their decorated cars. My favourite part was seeing all of your smiling faces. "You're off to great places! Today is your day. Your mountain is waiting. So...get on your way!" ~ Dr. Seuss OH, The Places You'll Go Wishing all of you a sensational summer and best of luck at your new schools. (Virtual) Hugs, Roxane
Hi everyone. We just had our first zoom meeting and I asked for you to share the pictures you made. Each week send us a photo of the activity we just did or the one we asked you to do between meetings. I will post everything here.
We will be posting a new challenge each week of may. Try the challenge and send in your photos to be posted here. Last week Roxane posted a green challenge. If you have pictures you can still send them in.
Week 1: Lego challenge.
Week 2: Monochromatic Art Challenge
Two weeks ago, I challenged you to go outside and search for green things in your backyard. We loved seeing all your photos and your creativity! This week's challenge is inspired by a #AGO Home's post. The Art Gallery of Ontario has a variety of ways to connect with art while at home. Lots of great stuff for adults, but this one is for kids! 1. Think about your favourite colour 2. Find objects in your favourite colour 3. Arrange them in a pleasing way. 4. Take a snapshot of your monochromatic art and share it here, and if Mom and Dad like, they can share it at with the AGO! Who is up for the challenge? Week 3 challenge.
I was thinking you could turn your colourful collection into something new. How about some wings? If you arrange your collection on the floor in the shape of wings and lay down with them it will look like you have wings. You could be a butterfly or an airplane or a superhero with a cape. I can't wait to see you fly. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAVf5tmhkyS/?igshid=10ys0dzlh3wmu |
