We went for a hike around campus this week. We visited the chicken of the woods and found something interesting. There were red dresses hanging in some of the trees. The first one we saw was in the Indigenous healing garden. We discussed that the dress was there to remind us of the missing Indigenous women and children. The dress is also to remind us to keep looking. The Red Dress program is a very heavy topic of discussion. We keep it light by focussing on finding people. Here are the pictures of what we saw. If you have any question about MMIWG2S please feel free to email me. I will do my best to answer your questions.

Elias says we will always respect the native population and we will always keep looking.

I will keep looking too. Hopefully they won't be missing anymore.
